Getting to Oxford

By Bus
If you are arriving or departing from Oxford by coach or public bus you will almost certainly start or finish your journey in the city centre at Gloucester Green, the central bus station. By Train
If you are arriving or departing from Oxford by train, you will be using Oxford Train station in Park End Street. Oxford Train station is a 10 minute walk from the city centre and provides a good service to all national destinations. By Car
If you are travelling to Oxford by car, you have several options on what to do with your car when you get there. If you are only visiting for the day then it is best to use the Oxford Park and Ride facilities (free parking) located North, South, East and West of the city centre. If you are just visiting for a few hours then you might want to use one of the car parks located within the City Centre. By Plane
Oxford has a small local airport, London Oxford Airport (near Kidlington) there are currently no large domestic or international flights from this airport. If you are flying into the UK then it is best to use one of the London Airports, Heathrow is the closest, but you can get cheaper flights to some of the airports futher away such as London Luton and London Stansted.
